Malcolm gladwell has no shortage of credentials. From 1987 to 1996, he was a reporter for The Washington Post. In 1996 he joined The New Yorker magazine, where he currently works as a staff writer. In 1999, while working for The New Yorker, he won a National Magazine Award for his article on Ron Popeil. Gladwell has also written 4 New York Times number 1 bestsellers, one of which being Outliers. In 2005, Time magazine selected Gladwell as one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people. All of this success achieved by Gladwell gives him an inside view on the subject which he writes about.
